National Indoor RV Center: They Can Do It All!

One of the things we have discovered about owning a motorhome is that it is hard to find good, reliable places to have service and other work done.  When you spend your hard-earned money on an expensive piece of machinery, you want to do everything you can to take care of it and keep it in perfect condition (especially when you are a full-timer like us and it is also your home!). We are so lucky to have found National Indoor RV Centers (NIRVC) whose mission is to provide an outstanding hassle-free motorhome ownership experience.  (While we have enjoyed working with several NIRVC locations, most of the pictures here are from our recent visit to the Dallas shop.)

So far we have dealt with 3 of NIRVC’s 4 locations.   We purchased our latest coach from Phoenix, picked it up in Atlanta (due to previous commitments), and recently had service done at Dallas.  We haven’t been to the newest location in Las Vegas yet, but I’m sure we’ll check it out when we are out that way.  There are also more locations proposed for the future, with two planned for 2020.  General Manager Eddie Braley explained that the company has a projected expansion plan to add more locations so RV owners will always be within 500 miles from an NIRVC store.  I know I feel much more comfortable knowing I have a reliable service facility close by as we travel across the US.

National Indoor RV Center simplifies motor coach ownership with offerings including sales, service, storage, and wash.  This privately held company is founded by partners who are also motor coach enthusiasts and know and understand the RV lifestyle.  You can feel the difference when you walk into NIRVC–you are part of a great family who is invested in YOU!  I am so impressed with their leadership, team building, and work ethic.  Eddie shared some specific steps in the works for improving the warranty work process and significantly reducing parts acquisition time.  He also responded quickly to my suggestion for an additional dog clean-up station.  It’s nice to know the leaders of NIRVC are forward thinking with the goal of improving not only customer service but the industry standards.

Sales:

NIRVC is a great place to purchase an RV.   A team of knowledgeable specialists make sure you understand everything about your coach and encourage staying at their on-site campground.  We spent 3 nights in Atlanta’s campground and had time to test things out, ask questions, and get assistance.  They offer great financing options and extended service agreements too.  Nothing is as exciting as Big Blue Bow day at NIRVC!  We purchased our 2019 Entegra Anthem from NIRVC in February and the experience was SO much better than a previous purchase elsewhere.

Service:

Everything you need can be accomplished in NIRVC’s state of the art facility:  mechanical repairs, paint and body work, parts, satellite tv, and even renovations.  Their highly trained technicians are great at diagnosing a problem, handling a factory recall, or taking care of any issue.  NIRVC can do warranty and extended warranty work, as well as individual component repairs such as refrigerators and washer/dryers.  They even have on-call after hours technicians who can help make a recommendation if you are having trouble out on the road.

Each NIRVC location has a great group of talented people.  At the Dallas location, we had a wonderful service team working for us.  Cheryl, our service advisor, did an excellent job of coordinating all of our service and repairs.  She was the key interface with all of the departments and kept things on track.  Randall is the paint and body director and does outstanding work—-the old or damaged becomes shiny and new as his team works their magic.  He also previously worked on our first coach after some storm damage and the result was just beautiful.  Paul, our service technician, amazed us with his ability to diagnose and correct several harder to pinpoint issues with our coach as well as handling a new factory recall item.

Storage:

When you purchase a motor coach, you want to make sure to protect that investment.  We didn’t have the option of storing a large RV at our home due to size restrictions.  As their name says, NIRVC offers secure indoor storage for your motor home.  By storing it indoors, you protect it from sun damage in the summer and from freezing pipes in the winter.  As an added bonus, garage stored vehicles need less washing and usually have a higher resale value.  To top it all off, your vehicle will be prepped and ready to go when you arrive to pick it up for a trip.  Talk about convenience!

Wash:

We have learned from experience that cleaning and washing a large motor home is a lot of work to do yourself.  Luckily, NIRVC has a hard-working team to take care of that for you.  They have state of the art equipment and materials to handle it all–even the roof.  Their Bitimec machine makes the job much faster, while using less water and detergent than conventional washing methods.   Better for the environment and you get to start off your trip with a nice clean coach!

You can drop off your RV at NIRVC or there are two waiting areas to use while your coach is being serviced.  Cold drinks and snacks are available for customers, and leashed pets are welcome to wait with you.  If you need to stay overnight, campground spots are available so you can sleep in your own bed.  We had lots of fun meeting other RVers and new friends during our evenings at the campground.

As you can probably tell by now, I am a big fan of National Indoor RV Centers.  We previously purchased from another dealer and have had service done elsewhere too, but none have compared to NIRVC.  We love our NIRVC family so much that we became Ambassadors, which just means we are happy to tell others about our motor home experiences.  Feel free to contact us with questions.   If you happen to stop by one of their locations to have service done, or even purchase a great RV, please mention my name:) We don’t get any money, but can earn Ambassador points towards discounts.   Thanks and happy travels!
