So Easy 3-Ingredient Orange Chicken

I love easy recipes, especially ones that taste delicious.  This 3-ingredient recipe is my version of Panda Express Orange Chicken (one of my favorites!), except it’s a little healthier because the chicken is sautéed instead of breaded and fried.  It only takes about 20 minutes from start to finish for this quick dinner (3 easy steps!), so it’s great when you need a fast but healthy meal.

Ingredients:

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 Tbsp vegetable oil

10 oz Panda Express Orange Sauce (1/2 bottle)

Step 1:

Cut chicken breasts into strips or bite-sized pieces.  I love to use my kitchen shears to cut meat–it’s much easier than using a knife.

Step 2:

Heat vegetable oil in skillet on medium-high temperature. Add chicken pieces and saute until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.  Having the chicken cut up really speeds up the cooking time.

Step 3:

Add orange sauce and stir. I don’t even drain the pan, just add the sauce!  Simmer for 3-5 minutes to let sauce bubble and thicken.

I am a pretty picky eater, so I like the chicken by itself but you could also add chopped veggies if you like.  Serve the chicken over white rice, add a salad and/or vegetables, and you have a complete meal.

This recipe only uses one skillet which makes cleanup easy.  The flavor of the Panda Express Orange Sauce is really good and makes a great quick dinner at home without needing a lot of ingredients.  You can get the sauce at any grocery store or even on Amazon.com.  Enjoy!

Looks YUMMY and very easy to make!

    • It’s not a fancy recipe for sure, but so simple that you can do it even after a long day when you are tired. And the taste is pretty close to Panda Express, too:)

    Thanks, Robin!

I didn’t have the Panda Express sauce, but used another stir fry sauce and it turned out great. Looking forward to trying the real recipe.
