- 1 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 8 oz Cool Whip thawed
- 2.5 Tbsp margarita drink mix dry
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 splash lemon juice
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 Tbsp butter optional
Mix cream cheese, margarita mix, sugar, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl until well blended.
Add in Cool Whip and mix gently until well blended.
Add 1 heaping tbsp of graham cracker crumbs to each dessert cup. If desired, you can mix 1 tbsp of melted butter into crumbs before dividing into the cups to help it stick together better. It tastes good either way!
Divide the cream cheese/Cool Whip mixture evenly into the 8 dessert cups.
If desired, you can add a sprinkling of graham cracker crumbs to the top of each dessert cup for garnish.
Cover each cup with plastic wrap and freeze 4 hours or overnight. You can eat it frozen or allow to thaw for about 15 minutes if you like a softer consistency.
This dessert is refreshingly light and tart! The great thing about the small dessert cups is that you can pull one or more out of the freezer whenever you need them.
You can also make a lower calorie version of this recipe by substituting light versions of the cream cheese and cool whip.
Alternative presentation: you can put the filling into a graham cracker pie crust and make a whole pie rather than individual dessert bowls.

This is delicious and so light and refreshing. Especially good after a heavier meal or lots of fun card games.
Thanks–we knew you would love it!
What a yummy and refreshing dessert/treat! I really like the fact that it is easy to make and has individual size portions.
Hi Sandi, Individual portions is one of the things I like too. If you can manage to just eat one at a time then they can last up to a few weeks in the freezer!
Can not wait to try . It looks amazing.
Hi Lisa. Thanks for visiting my site. I think you will love the margarita pie–so light and refreshing. The best thing is that it is easy to make too:)
